West Ham – Chelsea Preview

West Ham United faces Chelsea at the London Stadium in a match from the 5th round of the Premier League. Stay with us and our free soccer predictions for today. Are you ready?

West Ham didn’t start greatly with their new manager Julen Lopetegui. The Hammers won just one of their four matches so far, losing two of them. Because of that West Ham are now 14th in the league with just 4 points.

In their last game West Ham faced Fulham at the Craven Cottage and got a point after a 1-1 draw in the capital. Danny Ings came in from the bench and scored the equalising goal in the 95th minute. It was Ings’ first goal for the season.

We don’t expect to see Lopetegui to make drastic changes for the next game. Players like Antonio and Kudus will lead the attack while Lucas Paqueta and Carlos Soler could be in contention to start. Both players entered the pitch against Fulham from the bench.

Chelsea will try to make it two in a row after their win against Bournemouth last weekend. It was a dramatic win for the Blues as Christopher Nkunku scored the winner just four minutes before the 90th minute. The new signing Jadon Sancho caused an instant impact and assisted to Nkunku for his goal.

We expect to see Jadon Sancho in the line-up against West Ham. The talented midfielder is expected to be an influential player for Chelsea. His assist against the Cherries proved how good he can be.

Christopher Nkunku is another contender for Chelsea’s starting eleven. His winning goal against Bournemouth could give him a place in the line-up.
