It seems that the Norwegian striker is once again finding his peak form. That’s bad news for Manchester City’s opponents who will have some serious problems with him.

Pep Guardiola is usually rotating his line-up so we expect something like this to happen in the Manchester derby. Rodri was rested against Luton Town, but surely he will start against United. Ruben Dias shall return in defense while Julian Alvarez should start alongise Haaland in the attack. The Argentine striker is having a very good season so he will be important for City.

Kevin De Bruyne’s return to form is another huge news for Man City. The Belgian midfield maestro assisted four of Haaland’s five goals against Luton. That’s what he does best – providing for his teammates. When De Bruyne and Haaland are playing together, Manchester City becomes a much more dangerous team.

It’s really unexpected to see United losing at home in this game as they are regarded huge favorites to win. Harry Maguire equalised for Man Utd in the 89th minute, but Erik ten Hag’s team conceded a late goal in the 97th minute, losing the game.

Once again Ten Hag should analyse what happened and take some measures. He started the 19-years old Omari Forson against Fulham, but Christian Eriksen or Scott McTominay could replace him at the Etihad. Surely United will need some experience when they face the reigning champion. Antony is another option for the Dutch manager, but everyone knows that he’s not playing at the desired levels since arriving in England.

Manchester United’s counter-attacks are going to be the team’s most significant weapon against City on Sunday. It means that Bruno Fernandes will be the creative force in City’s half while Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford will rely on their speed. At the same time

Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo will have to be very solid in midfield and keep United’ back.
