Man City – Ipswich Preview

Manchester City hosts Ipswich Town at the Etihad in a game from the second round of the Premier League. Please remain with us and our free soccer predictions for today.

Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City already kicked off their new campaign with a win. Josep Guardiola’s team paid a visit to Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge, securing 2-0 win against the Blues. Erling Haaland opened the score in the first half while Mateo Kovacic doubled the lead after the break.

As usual, we should expect to see Pep Guardiola rotating the line-up against Ipswich. After coming in as a substitute against Chelsea, Phil Foden should find himself in the line-up in the next match. Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker and John Stones are also among the players who can get the nod from Pep Guardiola.

Rico Lewis made a pretty good performance against Chelsea last weekend. The youngster started in the line-up and he was really useful in midfield. Now let’s see if Lewis is going to start again in the next match as well.

Ipswich Town are among the newcomers in the Premier League this season, but they started their season with a loss. Kieran McKenna’s boys hosted Liverpool at the Portman Road, but suffered a 0-2 defeat.

McKenna was not happy with the performance of his team, so he could make some changes in the starting eleven. Players like Jack Taylor, Benjamin Johnson and Ali Al-Hamadi could be in line to face the Cityzens from the first minute.

That’s the free soccer predictions for today for the upcoming Premier League clash between Manchester City and Ipswich Town. Most of the pundits expect a dominant game from the champions. The truth is Ipswich didn’t show much in their first match. Now for them it’s going to be very difficult at the Etihad. But let’s see what they can do!
