The Italian team celebrated its first win in the group in the previous round. The Nerazzurri traveled to the Czech Republic where they enjoyed a 2-0 win against Viktoria Pilzen. Edin Dzeko opened the score in the first half while Denzel Dumfries doubled the score in the second half.

Inter’s star striker Romelu Lukaku could miss the game because of an injury. At the same time the influential midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is also doubtful for the match. This puts some dark clouds above Simone Inzaghi’s head.

Barcelona will try to bounce back after the defeat they suffered against Bayern Munich. The Catalans didn’t have a bad game at the Allianz Arena, but once again they lost against the German powerhouse. Now they will have to play away from home again.

The head coach Xavi is having some problems with injuried players, too. Ronald Araujo and Jules Kounde are not available while Hector Bellerin is having some discomfort, too. In the midfield Frenkie de Jong is also fighting an injury problem.

Robert Lewandowski is lethal since he joined Barcelona in the summer. So far the Polish striker has scored 11 goals in 8 matches in all competition – including a hattrick in the Champions League. Inter Milan’s defense will have a lot of problems with him – that’s for sure.
