Brentford – Aston Villa Preview

Brentford hosts Aston Villa at the Gtech Community Stadium in a match from the 28th round of the Premier League. If you stay with us you’d see our usual football tips today. Are you ready?

Brentford are enjoying another decent season in the Premier League under the management of Thomas Frank. The Bees are currently 11th in the league with 38 points and comfortable about their place in the league. Brentford are not in danger of relegation and this means it’s another successful season for them.

In terms of current shape, Brentford are doing okay – they lost just one of their lat five matches in the Premier League. In their last match the Bees faced Everton at home, and shared the points with the Toffees – 1-1. Yoane Wissa opened the score for the hosts but Everton managed to equalise in the second half.

Yoane Wissa is arguably the most impressive player in Brentford’s team at the moment. The Congo international has 13 goals in the Premier League since the beginning of the season. This way he already beat his achievement from the 2023/24 season when he scored 12 goals. Wissa is incredibly dangerous at the moment, and he scores often.

Aston Villa still have a chance to go up in the standings and reach Top 4, but only if they find the consistency they need. The Villans are currently 10th and 5 points behind the 4th Manchester City. It’s not a gap they can’t reduce, but here’s the problem – Unai Emery’s team won just one of its last five games in the Premier League.

In their last game Aston Villa suffered their second defeat for 2025. Emery’s boys faced Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park, but after a very poor performance conceded a 1-4 defeat. Morgan Rogers scored for Villa, but obviously it wasn’t enough for the Birmingham team to take something from the match.

Aston Villa showed a better face last weekend when the team progressed in the FA Cup. The Villans hosted Cardiff City at the Villa Park and got a 2-0 win. The new signing Marco Asensio became the hero as he scored both goals for Aston Villa. The Spanish attacker is playing better and better since he joined the club from PSG.

Asensio is expected to lead the team in the next game as well. The former Real Madrid winger is making waves with his performances in England. The Spaniard now has 4 goals in 6 matches played for Aston Villa.

That’s the football tips today for the Premier League clash between Brentford and Aston Villa. Good luck!
